Kansya is derived from the Sanskrit word for “queen’s metal” or “bell metal”, and in Japanese, it means “to be grateful.” The seeds of Kansya began to grow in late 2014, and the brand was officially registered in August 2017. In 2018, we proudly showcased our work at Lakmé Fashion Week SS ’18—marking a milestone in our journey. Our story is rooted in the Indian tradition of slow, intentional craft, blending timeless techniques with a contemporary soul.

What We Create?

At Kansya, we handcraft unique jewelry using brass, silver, enamel, semi-precious stones, and unconventional materials like cement, mother of pearl, wood, resin, and glass. Every piece tells a story—deeply inspired by art, architecture, and nature. When you wear Kansya, you're not just wearing jewelry—you’re carrying a piece of thought, care, and creative expression.

Why We Do It?

Our purpose is to create authentic design—pieces that don’t just decorate, but evoke feeling, attachment, and pride. We want you to know that when you choose Kansya, you're choosing something meaningful: a piece of art born from inspiration, hand-shaped by skill, and connected to a story larger than itself. And through this, we hope to shine a light on the invisible hands—our karigars—whose dedication and talent deserve recognition and reverence.

Our Values

At the heart of Kansya is a deep respect for the karigars—the skilled artisans whose hands bring every piece to life. We exist to preserve their craft, honor their stories, and give back to the community that makes our work possible. Through authentic design and ethical making, we aim to create jewelry that connects our customers to something real—pieces rooted in culture, shaped by tradition, and rich with meaning. When you wear Kansya, you're not just wearing a design—you're carrying a story worth telling.
